The Craft Group meets on the 1st Monday of the month at 10:00am at St Teresa's Catholic Church, Clumber St, Warsop.

If you would like to join us the only thing you need to bring is a basic sewing kit and a willingness to have a go at anything. All materials are available for a very small donation to the person who brings them, if anything more specialised is required you will be given the opportunity to purchase any item needed yourself, or you can borrow from other group members.
PLEASE NOTE THE NEW VENUE
The craft group meets the first Monday of the month 10am – 12noon St Theresa’s catholic church, Clumber Stret, Warsop. NG20 0LX. The carpark is on Ridgeway and there is a set of steps down to the hall. If you do have mobility issues it may be better to park in either the library or main car park in Warsop.
Group Updates
Oct 2025
There were 12 members at the October meeting. In line with the season we made pumpkins from felt. There were a few different colours and types. All enjoyed the morning and we welcomed a new member.


The next meeting is on Monday 3rd November, Anne will be taking us through making stained glass effect window decorations.
Sept 2025
There were 9 members at the September meeting. We had an enjoyable morning making crochet squares, button and thread collage pictures, and some simply helped others and had a chat.
The next meeting is on Monday 6th October when we will be will be making either pop- up cards or fabric pumpkins to keep with the season!

Aug 2025
The August meeting make was changed due to personal circumstances. The group did some embroidery hoop collages, a card and a knitted peg doll, as you can see from the picture they made some very colourful items and I heard that they enjoyed the morning together.
The next meeting is on Monday 1st September when we will be will be making pop- up cards.

July 2025
Seven members met on Monday 7TH July to embark on a Quilling exercise. As you can see from the pictures we all had a successful morning. I think we might visit this craft again next year as we all seemed to enjoy ourselves and accomplish something very colourful.
The next meeting is on Monday 4th August when we will be will be undertaking slow stich which Karen will be demonstrating.
May 2025
Eight members of the group were at the meeting on Monday and we had a lovely morning. We made cardboard teapots/ boxes, the cutting out was a bit fiddly but we all managed to make a box/teapot, all individually decorated and looking very colourful. Thanks to Lisa for supplying the refreshments and to Lisa and Pat for making them.

The next meeting is on Monday 7th July, the itinerary says slow stich, but I’m not entirely sure that is what we’ll be doing. Whatever is undertaken a good time can be expected, hope to see you there.
April 2025
Although there was only 9 members at the group on Monday 7th April we had a good making session, and a lovely time. Here are the results -

March 2025
This months activity was led by Anne who gave us instructions on how to make Rag dolls.

Feb 2025
There were 12 members at the meeting on Monday, with 2 new members. Brenda talked us through making flowers using toilet roll inners. It was a bit like Blue Peter! We all managed to complete the task (minus the stem, which we glued on at home) chatting and laughing while cutting and glueing.
Chris arrived during the meeting and made us cups of tea and coffee with Lisa bringing the biscuits, thank you all.

Dec 2024
During the meeting the group made Christmas wreathes, you can see from the pictures that each one was different. We had an enjoyable time with lots of chatter and laughter. We also enjoyed refreshments with chocolate brownies (thank you Lisa).

In the November 24 meeting the group made 3D Xmas cards.
7th Oct 24
There were nine of us at the group, we had a cheerful morning making sock gonks, you can see from the pictures that we had a variety of colours and they all had their own personality.

2nd Sept 2024
On the 2nd Sept 24, 7 members of the Craft group met at the new venue, which is a great improvement over the last one!
We were challenged by the task of making 'Snowmen', but we eventually made it!


5th Aug 2024
The group spent an enjoyable morning making sun catchers to hang in the garden and discussing a variety of things while crafting away.
July 2024
This month we made decoupage pen pots. We recycled used cardboard pots from gravy and sweets and cut up old wrapping paper which we stuck with PVA glue. Once we had finished we had a cuppa and biscuits and a good old natter!
